Getting published – it's easier than you think! There is nothing more satisfying than seeing your own words, ideas, beliefs, story or life in print! We’ll get your book published on Amazon and other sites first time! Just send us the original document in Word, WordPerfect, plain text or a load of other formats and we’ll do the rest. In a week or two your book will be available for purchase worldwide, just in your own country or only available for sale privately (to your family, school or club members, for example).  Whether you want it in hardbook or an ebook such as Kindle, or both or anything in between, we can do the job for you. What services do we provide? We provide a single packaged solution so there are no nasty “send us another $100” messages from us. You get the lot up front for less than you might expect. Indeed, you can tell us not to do certain things and we’ll reduce your bill. · Proof reading, spelling, grammar and punctuation correction: we won’t mess up your spelling of special words or the way you have your characters speaking but we will make sure you’ve said “too big” rather than “to big”. · Computer analysis of how many times you use each word – did you really want to use the word “said” 2,000 times in a 150 page book? · Formatting of your book for printing and electronic publication – do you want your book in large print (more expensive for printing) or compact? · Special finishing of the book – hardcover, softcover, shiny paper etc. We’ll advise you of any of these that will push the published price up. · Cover design – ours or yours What does it cost? For a book up to 50 pages - $150 51 – 250 pages - $250 $50 for each 50 pages beyond 250 We won’t ask you to buy any extra services from us but, if you do want something more, a custom painted cover for example, we’d be happy to oblige. What do you have to do? You did the hard work when you wrote the book but you do need to do just a little more so you can get paid! · Write a blurb about the author · Write a blurb about the book · Write a dedication to go at the front of the book (or not – up to you) · Provide an author’s photo – not essential but a nice touch · Tell us where to send your royalties – we’ll set up automatic payment to your bank account or a check if you’d rather. Your royalties come directly from the various retail outlets we use, not from us · Take over your seller account from us so you can manage your own financial arrangements if you want to · Get your friends to read it and write nice reviews for you How long does it take? Depending on how much work we need to do and how big your book is, you’ll be published in as little as two weeks. That’s all – no trudging round agents’ offices, waiting for acceptance letters. If your book is an instruction book on doing illegal stuff, we won’t handle it. What’s our experience? CMC started life writing technical manuals for software companies and then moved on to writing novels and editing novels and memoirs for friends and colleagues. We’ve done several dozen books, everything from a 30 page poetry collection to a 2,000 page software instruction manual. We’ve yet to get our first Hollywood blockbuster or NY Times best seller out there but we’ve a number of authors who have made a decent bit of spare cash from their activities. What languages do we speak? Between us we speak English (American and British), French, Spanish, German, Italian, mathematics and a pile of computer languages to various degrees of fluency. Even a spot of Maori. Who owns the copyright? At all stages, you are the owner of the copyright of the book.
